After a life well lived, John has passed away peacefully at home with his loving family.
Deeply loved husband of the late Glyn, and deeply loved partner of Janet,
dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Annabel, and Victoria & Leon,
beloved Poppa of Jacob, Jenna, and Lucia; Miller, and Reid,
best friend of Robin Ross, devoted master of Oscar the dog, and a genuine friend of many.

A celebration of John’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 2pm.
I worked for John and Glyn for 17 years and have very fond memories of my time with them. I am really saddened to hear of John’s passing and extend my sincerest and most heartfelt sympathies to all who loved him. May you take some comfort in knowing that others share in your loss.🍃🍂
