Passed away unexpectedly at home in Runanga on April 14, 2026, aged 75.

In accordance with Darcy’s wishes a private family service will be held and Darcy laid to rest
at Memorial Park Cemetery, Gladstone. Family and friends are invited to a farewell
gathering to remember Darcy at the Union Hotel on Thursday the 23rd April 2026 at 4pm.
To Jean and families. I have just heard of Darcy’s passing and send my condolences to you all. I first met Darcy at Grey Main school, when the Craze family moved from Westport. We remained good friends until we both left the Coast for new job opportunities. You will have good memories of Darcys achievements. Stay strong during this difficult time.
