Passed away peacefully at Granger House with loving family by her side, on April 15, 2026, aged 89.
Dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Wayne Gibbens & Kathy Russell, and Jim & Therese Gibbens,
loved Granny of Ben & Merissa, and Jessica & James; Clem & Kirsty, Jordie, Millie & Toby, and Reid,
loved Great Granny of Louis, Ella, and Georgie; Margot, and Luca; Jack, and Frankie, and Matilda,
beloved wife of the late George Nelson, cherished sister and sister-in-law of David (deceased),
and Bruce (deceased) & Lynne, loved friend of Jenni Gibbens, Lorraine Hilton,
and the late Richard Gibbens, a loved aunty, cousin and friend.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Francie’s life will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church,
Tainui Street on Saturday at 3pm followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
