Passed away peacefully at home in Blaketown with his beloved ‘Nurse Ruffy’ by his side on February 20, 2026, aged 76.
Deeply loved dad of Rachael, and Ricky,
dearly loved Poppa of Mikayla (Mary), and Keegan,
much loved companion of Wendy Larsen,
loved son of the late Charlie & Phyllis,
loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret & the late Alan Herring, Denise & the late Rob Curtis,
Des & Jean, Mel & Bernadette, and Errol & Jenny,
a much respected friend of Chris & Gordon,
wonderful friend of Mary Thomas and a loved member of the Thomas, Larsen and Davidson families,
a loved uncle, cousin and friend of many.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Kip’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street on Thursday the 26th February 2026 at 1pm
followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
