RIP Danny a true gentleman and a real asset to the Coast.
I am going to miss bumping into you and having a good old yarn and a laugh. Rest easy Danny – it was an honour to have met you.
Rest in peace Danny. You were a well respected man and well loved by all. I remember when our families got together when we were young out playing croquet. Great times. Now may you rest in heaven with your family xxxxx
Danny was a truly wonderful Marist man, as well as an Athletics-Life Member with his brother Colin, Rugby League et al, and it was a privilege to have known him well over the years. His faith, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed by everyone on the Coast and afar. We would share comms over the telephone, for the last time at Christmas 2025. Brothers John; Paul Mulvaney offer our deepest condolences to the Spark family on the loss of Danny.
His family are all in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

My condolences to Danny’s family. He was an outstanding athlete , coach and official at the Greymouth Athletic Club for many years. I spent my last 4 years on the West Coast in Greymouth 1972 to 1975. I was lucky enough to be a member of that athletic clubs committee which was made of wonderful Greymouth residents including Danny.
