My Dearest Sympathy to all Emily’s families, We cherished the time she worked with us all at Hallensteins . Very efficient and pleasant to our customers. also both of us living round the corner from each other in Cobden. I remember her family visiting us in The Greymouth store and laughing all together. Fond memories of Emily, Kindest Regards Marj Brown also Edith and Gaylene Im sure they would like to pass my thoughts onto all the Family as well.
A wonderful Aunt to the Laughton families. Alan, Jean, Ian, Barry & Sharon . Remembered with love. Janine and families will miss her terribly our thoughts are with you all . Alan & Sue Laughton.
Deepest sympathy to Emily’s family at this very sad time. My memories of Emily and Des are when I had the shop just down the road from them in Dobson. Shop was known as Menzies Four Square store. A very gentle and caring lady. She also worked for the Bernina sewing machine shop under Ralph Kelly, and became a friend of my mother, Edna Waters during that time. My thoughts are with Emily’s family at this sad time
Florence Gunn (Menzies)
Remembering Emily with fondness as children.
Des and Emily were our neighbours on the hill.
Deepest sympathy to all her loved ones.
