Passed away at Granger House on January 9, 2024 aged 98,
12 days short of his 99th birthday.
Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Bruce & Mavis Wareing,
loved uncle of Alan & Chris Wareing, and the late Philip & Lorraine Wareing.
Basil will be sadly missed by his great niece and nephews, his cousins, and kind friends.

Cremation has taken place here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Basil’s life will be held at a place and time to be advised.
Sorry to hear of Basils passing, condolences to the Waring families. Was a great friend to Murray who was his neighbour in Matai, now in Western Australia.
