Passed away peacefully at Allen Bryant Ultimate Care, Hokitika on January 14, 2026, aged 83.
Dearly loved daughter of the late John & Marjorie Cain,
loved sister and sister-in-law of Mary (deceased) & Michael Austin, and Robert (deceased) & Olene Cain,
beloved aunty of John, Carol, Christian, and the late Joanna,
a much loved great aunty of Daniel, Keiran, Wylie, and Mason,
a loved cousin, and friend of many.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui St,
on Tuesday the 20th January 2026 at 11am followed by burial in the Karoro Cemetery.
