Passed away peacefully at Granger House on August 21, 2025, in her 90th year.
Dearly loved wife for 66 years, of the late Kevin, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen & Tom (Wellington),
Grant & Deidre (and the late Sue) (Melbourne), and Rob & Andrea (Greymouth),
cherished Nan of Hamish & Kirsten, Andrew, Liam, Jennifer & Mick, and Nathan, great grandmother of William,
Marcus and the late Cameron, a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt and loyal friend of many.

In accordance with Dawn’s wishes a cremation has taken place here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
A memorial service to celebrate Dawn’s life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel,
Tainui Street on Friday the 19th September at 1pm.
