Sincerest sympathy to Lyn and family, so sorry to hear of Sean’s passing. Carole McLeod and Donna
To Lyn and all of the Coleman clan, we are so sorry that we can’t get to the funeral due to road conditions out of Kaiteriteri/Nelson. Sean was a special person to all who knew him and his infectious spirit and love of family and life we all saw in him. His tenacity to keep going became a real challenge in the last few months but let’s not dwell on that. All of the fun, laughter and great times we have shared are the real lasting memories that will still be relived in times ahead. Love to you all. Alistair and Kathy Ferguson and the Massey Ferguson Tours boys.
Sean.
Fond memories of the early days here in Wellington.
We took on photography and music and you perfected photography and the business of selling records if I recall it correctly and I music.
I always remember those times with great clarity and the intense focus that you could bring to things. I remember your love of motorbikes and then the next minute you had a Trail bike and the way you were off on adventures.
And then you moved to the West Coast and became a Coaster and to this day I often think about and how inspirational that has been to me.
You can take a rest knowing you’ve created an enormous legacy with your family and also an enduring spirit with us, your old mates.
In kindness and true friendship.
Bless you.
Cheers John

I just recently found out that Sean has passed away, i was shocked, but i remember him very well at the Centrepoint Records, which he brought the off the former owner and it was in the , which they called it if i remember the Centrepoint Arcade, as it has a cafe and also Chips Robinson’s Bob’s Bargain Bar and Sean was behind him at the back ,inside the building and other shops as well like Gerard Quinn Jewelers and Network Photos etc.
Sean was a magnificent person at the record shop and he knew his music and he was very good in what he was doing, i brought a lot of tapes and CD’s there, he had Craig Culling to help him from time to time.
It was a great shop and place to buy music from and they also shifted where the bay audiology is and then things went downhill due to the warehouse , but it was a treasure having the shop there, and it was all thanks to Sean and a lot of folks would agree that he was awesome.
I thankful to have met him during that time and i also wrote a poem based on the rolling stones songs and i knew that he as a big fan of the group.
My Condolences to the family, and especially to Lynn
