Passed away peacefully in Christchurch, doing what he loved on October 6, 2022, aged 72.

A Service to celebrate Cookie’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, 134 Tainui Street, Greymouth on Saturday at 11am.
Cookie will then be laid to rest at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Gladstone.
Will miss seeing you daily David with the newspaper in hand and story’s of your day. You were a wonderful caring neighbour and we will miss your generosity and baking. Much love to Rodney and Andrea and Valerie and Stephen.
Such a sad loss. Was a special friend to my 7 year old son Ezequiel (Zeek). He will miss hearing about his lego and saying he wants to sit my cookie at Friday night dinners. Condolences to his family.
Thinking of you atm, Rodney did very well with everything, your house is sold, but still, I think of you often.
