Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer in Greymouth on August 26, 2025, aged 76.
Dearly loved wife of Spencer, adored mum and mother-in-law of Stevan & Liz (Rotorua)
and Terena and Brendan Hay (Barrytown), much loved nana Row of Jake, Jordan, Cody, Eli, and Tasman,
loved sister and sister-in-law of Lynne & Ken Sitarz, Bruce and Maria Kelsey, and Jon (deceased) and Gayle Kelsey,
loved sister-in-law of Maye Dunn, Dallas & Michael Rees, and Lennie & Christine Dunn, a loved aunty, cousin, and friend of many.

A Service to celebrate Rowena’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street on Saturday 30th August at 1pm,
followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
