Passed away peacefully at Granger House, on October 11, 2026, aged 92.
Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Donna & Allan, Lara & Wes, and the late Johnny,

much loved ‘Great Grams’ of Noah, Byron, Braxton, Bodhi, Linnear, and Tilia,
cherished daughter of the late Mona & John Henderson,
loved sister and sister-in-law of Claire & the late Alec, Carol & the late Arthur, the late Jan & Peter, and Jo,
special friend of John Costello, much loved aunty, cousin, and friend of many.

In accordance with Gaye’s wishes a private cremation has taken
place here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.

The family would like to acknowledge those staff members of Granger House who truly cared for Gaye with genuine kindness and respect.

A Memorial Service to remember Gaye will be held in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, High Street on Tuesday at 1pm.
