Passed away peacefully in Greymouth, after a short illness on December 21, 2023, aged 77.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2pm.
Eldest son of the late Norm & Jessie, loved brother and brother-in-law of Alan & Anne,
Pauline & Trefor Jones, Ray & Debbie, Kay, and Margaret Simpson,
loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Ken was just around having a cuppa a few weeks ago and we had a great chat reminiscing of days gone past. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Saddened and shocked to learn of Kens passing today, January 6th. He was a hard but fair boss when I worked for him back in the 1980s in Greymouth Train Control. Condolences to all the family, RIP Ken.
